OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE…
Send a Kid to Camp/ to The Dwelling
TODAY, May 3
Nothing nurtures the faith of young disciples more than church camp and mission trips! Today, we will hear stories from youth who have participated in the past and we will receive a special offering to help fund these experiences. Offerings may be made by placing a check in the plate on Sunday, drop a check at the church office, or use the church online giving page. Write Camp/Dwelling on checks or offering envelopes. Choose the option Send a Kid to Camp (Lutheridge & the Dwelling) on the online giving page. Www.SJBft.org/GiveToStJohns

OPPORTUNITIES TO GROW…
Bingo Day,

Movie Night “Oh God”
Wednesday, April 29, 6 pm
All members and friends are invited to movie night in the Mission Building! Popcorn and drinks will be provided. “Oh God” is a Carl Reiner that stars George Burns and John Denver. Jerry Landers (John Denver), an assistant manager in a supermarket, receives a visit from God (George Burns), who appears in the form of an old man. Reluctant at first, Jerry agrees to spread the word about his visits from the almighty creator of heaven and earth. However, Jerry’s wife, Bobbie (Teri Garr), is skeptical, and theologians think Jerry’s God is a fake. As Jerry continues to receive visits from God, religious authorities take action and demand that he prove his story. Invite friends!
