The Seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost – September 15, 2024
THANKS FOR GRACE…
Youth Gathering Thank You!
Thanks be to God for all the members of St. John’s who helped send five youth to the ELCA Youth Gathering in New Orleans this past July. Thanks be to God for these youth sharing their experiences with you today in worship.
Boldly Generous with our Space
Thanks be to God that St. John’s continues to live out our core value of being generous with our time, talent space, and resources. You might be surprised how much impact you make on our community through the sharing of our facilities. For example, in the next week we host four community musical ensemble rehearsals, two 12-step groups, the Lion’s Club, and a screening of a documentary featuring local high school youth who have been active to speak out against book banning in their schools.
