Thanks be to God for Deacon Katie and her ongoing ministry for children, youth, and families. This week, she is working with several members to start a new Lunch & Learn series for adults AND working to pull together the last dozens of details for next week’s travel to the ELCA Youth Gathering!

CAPA Service Event

Independence Day Picnic/Water Fun
St. John’s young adults will provide Fourth of July fun today for youth from CAPA. All young adults – members and friends – are asked to help with this service project.
Children of elementary age or younger are welcome to attend with their parents. For the privacy of the youth living at CAPA, middle and high school age children are not allowed to attend. Details at:

All are welcome to stuff small animals for children who are hospitalized. No sewing skills needed. Meet in the Mission Building. Bring a bag lunch.
