The St. John’s Lutheran Beaufort congregation is committed to caring for, nourishing, and supporting one another.
In addition to Sunday worship, we share fellowship and devotions/Bible study at Wednesday Nights Together (frequency varies through the year – check the calendar!). Sharing laughter, prayer, and a meal – usually homemade – brings people closer together in community with God.
We have groups that meet for fellowship, Bible study, and mutual care designed for men, women, youth, children, and young adults. Whether it is families with young children gathering for Bible stories and playground time, youth growing their faith in youth nights, young adults gathering at the home of member, or adults meeting for crafts or lunch on a weekday, faith is supported by building caring relationships.
Staff members offer congregation care to members in times of joy and crisis, and a group of members called Befrienders provides a listening ear and comforting presence for other members who are experiencing difficulties in life.
We love gathering in this community of faith which God has called together in this place!
